I’m one of those folks who think by writing so something like this is a natural extension of how I am.

I started blogging in 2001 using Cyworld (now-gone Korean social media platform). It went on for about five years including two at the business school. Fast forward… After kid #1’s arrival in early 2009, I started writing again, this time on Facebook. The 36 essays that I had posted during her first three years of life, I self-published them into a book (and I’m still working). Fast forward… Kid #2 arrived at the end of 2011 and I felt compelled to do the same. So I did (write another 36 essays and self-publish) and at the end of 2015, I stopped posting on Facebook. I became scared of having to continue doing the same for each new kid so I suggested that we stop having kids 😊. Fast forward… In 2018, I started another blog using Yammer but this was within the company’s four walls (i.e., limited audience). I am on my last post there which brings us to why we are here.

I’ve now decided to use Substack to continue my writings; I will also post up previous stuff. As before, I will be writing on investing, self-awareness, parenting, and of Christian faith. I probably will have like five subscribers but that’s totally fine, I am writing for myself. As such and until I become famous, an intergalactic chance, I won’t be clicking on any subscription fee modules here. So please just enjoy, have a moment of reflection, and feel free to leave comments & engage me offline!
